Let’s just say August was a very busy month for our little familia. Baby was teething, Ben was away and mama is working out! Xander and I also started mommy + son dates and it’s been the best. No cameras or distractions. Highly recommend! If you’d like to see more, I just posted a little vlog where you see snippets of my life these days. It’s nothing crazy- but it’s our little story! Love y’all! ❤️ I’ll probably post again in September 🤪

🌼Heart check 🌼

This week I have recommitted my life to Jesus. Not because I hadn’t done it before, but because my heart needed to be reminded of whose I am and why I’m here. Not on this app, but here here.

Sometimes we need a heart check, motive check, and a reality check?

As Christ-followers, it’s our job to put social media where it belongs, not the other way around. Too often I find myself distracted from what God has for me because I’m too busy looking at other people’s stories.

I’m recommitting to God’s story for my life.

Let’s pause watching other’s people’s highlights all day and focus on living our own lives in the season we found ourselves in.

So less scrolling for me and more living and loving for Him 💛

Y’all idk if this is every new mom, but I have such a hard time leaving the house. There are so many unknowns.

When will I feed him? Should I take a bottle just in case? Should I take the car seat adapter for the stroller or use the actual seat? How will this outing affect his nap? Etc. etc. etc.

It’s people like that see all of this and support healthy decisions like getting out of the house. Then cheer you on when you do 😭 I am so grateful for you.

If you’re a new mom and also struggle(d) with the same— just know, you are not alone 😩❤️
