We don't march for the sake of marching,
We march to break the locks they've placed on our voices.
We march to wrest the truth from the ballot boxes,
So that the light no longer goes out at the end of the ballots.
We...
We don't shout for the sake of shouting,
We shout so that justice stops sleeping,
So that our exiled brothers can return,
And so that our imprisoned sisters can breathe the air of freedom.
We...
We don't dream for the sake of dreaming,
We dream of a country where power doesn't cling like a shadow to the setting sun,
Where each mandate knows how to say "it's over,"
Where the people decide, without fear, without chains, without lies.
And even if their clubs want to break our steps,
Even if their walls want to stifle our cries,
We are like water:
We pass, we dig, we overturn.

The gates will open,
The flags will rise,
And in the breath of a single people,
We will hear: VICTORY!
