Something we’ve never really done before (and if I’m being honest I kind of kept it in the dark to so she wouldn’t have sleepless nights leading up to it)
For a little over an hour between bands on the Fan Fest Stage presented by , we both hosted the fans, walking around with microphones, interviewing runners, volunteers, and vendor employees, asking anything from how they were feeling for the marathon to what awesome events were happening and the fun things to do at fan fest.
We finished it off by announcing the band that played just before our recording and Erika nailed it when she got to announce the bands name because it had one of her favorite words “booty” 😆
That was all before the podcast recording. Will we do it again? We’ll see. But we had a blast!
