The fight extends beyond the VA. This episode also confronts a growing threat: the online harassment of veterans as a protected class. We investigate how some "coaches" and "consultants" prey on veterans by charging exorbitant fees and making false guarantees and s**t like this while those who hold themselves out as advocates sometimes engage in predatory practices that amount to exploitation. We look at the accountability gap and discuss the protections veterans are supposed to have, including a federal court ruling against a company that charged unaccredited fees, and what it means for the community.
