The Asian Music Production (AMP) is a production team for students with interests in producing Asian pop music, and providing chances for students to perform. The club will give members a chance of making and producing Asian style music and pop music targeting the Asian market, and set up connections with Asian record labels, communicating with people who works in music industry. The club will als
o produce soundtracks for Asian short movie clips, soundtracks for trailers, making promotion videos for the club and school. Anyone interested in making Asian Music can join the club, including students currently enrolled at Berklee and outside Berklee. Students from other school can join by invitation from a currently enrolled Berklee member from the club. Members of AMP will have a chance to promote their own production on our social networks, and will have a priorty chance of performing gigs for us. We will have a final big concert in BPC every year, for about 2 hours in length, and we will invite record labels and production companies, to hold events and meetings together, to build connections and bridges to the music industry. We will make an album every year for our members. We will promote our talented members in all the ways. We will hold performances on certain special occasions. Other than gigs and performances, we will also offer chances for you to produce for people, such as film scoring and making charts, engineering for recording sessions and making promotion videos for our clubs and school. Members are required to:
- Have a curiosity or general interest in production of Asian music or performing.
- Be open to the thoughts and opinions of fellow members
- Participate in required club events
Members of the Asian Music Production (AMP) are expected to attend at least one meeting every month, except for special notice. The AMP does not require members to pay dues. Yearly Members-Only Events:
1. Garage Sell
2. Buying back text books and furnitures
3. Airport pick up, car rental, and moving helps
4. Housing consolation
5. Glee Feast in the end of the year, rewards for outstanding members.
