Jake Lang is a hilariously pathetic little man.

Edward Jacob Lang (born 1995 or 1996)[2] is an American far-right activist and political candidate. He was a participant in the 2021 January 6 United States Capitol attack, for which he served four years in prison. Lang's convictions were dismissed by President Donald Trump in his pardon of attack defendants on the first day of his second presidency in 2025.

Lang was issued a summons for failing to appear in court for a March 24, 2026, hearing in Washington, D.C. for making threatening comments to a Capitol Police officer at a January 6 fifth-anniversary event. Lang was due for trial in Minneapolis on July 27, 2026, on suspicion of a felony for defacing a $6,000 anti-ICE ice sculpture in front of the Minnesota State Capitol. Furthermore, on June 9, 2026, Lang was arrested in Dallas County, Texas, for making a terroristic threat, for which his bond was set at $1 million and later reduced to $250,000.

Donald Trump's team used an Ariana Grande song in a video and within hours, Grande had the song ripped out of it.

Team Trump posted the clip on TikTok on Thursday. It showed Trump walking onstage while Grande's "We Can't Be Friends," a song about the end of a relationship, played, opening on an actual line from it: "Me and my truth we sit in silence." Then the text cut to the message they were really there to push. "Men can't have babies and should never compete in women's sports."

Grande answered in the comments the same day.

"Never use my music again," she wrote. "Also, your truth is false."

The comment looks to have since been hidden or deleted. Her music was harder to bury. The video is still up, but where her track used to play, it now reads, "This sound isn't available."

This is not the first time Grande has told Trump's team to stop using her songs to push something she opposes.

They quoted her line about "my truth" to sell their own, and for a moment her voice was the soundtrack to Trump's entrance. She told them their truth was false and pulled her music off the post.

The video they built now plays in silence.
