Last night, the holiday spirit filled the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, Massachusetts. If you haven’t visited the museum, you are genuinely missing out.

The Brockton Young Professionals Group curated an outstanding event. Crafted in Cheer, a professional holiday mixer, included , local food vendors, and a make-your-own ornament station that invited everyone to participate. As a longtime admirer of artist, , I was especially excited to experience her work on display—bold, textural, and vibrant pieces that transformed both the walls and ceiling.

I also enjoyed sitting down with fellow guests and museum staff to create a 2026 ornament, now proudly hanging on my tree. After the tree lighting, the evening continued with live holiday music, adding the perfect festive touch.

All in all, it was a wonderful evening at the Fuller Craft Museum. This holiday event truly delivered.

Had to reach all the way back to 2007 for this one.

MACDC's was among my earliest full-scale design projects, and it still brings back great memories. I remember being energized by the running timeline concept at the top of each spread and inspired by the richness of MACDC’s photo archive. I also had the opportunity to develop their , which tied the entire piece together.

Grateful to MACDC for trusting me with their story so early in my career. Time moves quickly, but the work continues to matter.

• Flashback Friday

One of my very first projects with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Transportation Research Board back in 2001 was creating a vibrant brochure showcasing the emerging Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems across the country.

BRT introduced new digital technologies designed to enhance convenience, speed, reliability, and safety—and I remember letting my creativity run free as I explored bold colors, dynamic layouts, compelling imagery, and specialty paper options. It was one of those early projects that reminded me how much I love bringing big ideas to life through design.

Another fabulous open house hosted by Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation! Despite a cold and rainy Tuesday evening in Boston, the energy inside was warm and welcoming. JGJ Designs has long been a proud supporter of their mission and vision, and this annual gathering remains one of my favorite events of the year.

It’s always a joy to reconnect and network with the DBEDC team—both familiar faces and new ones. I love hearing about the impactful work they’ve done throughout the year and the inspiring goals they’re setting for the future.

The food was delicious, and my caricature by DeutraCaricatures.com was absolutely amazing! I had a blast taking photos with Lakeisha Witty of . The networking energy was fantastic, and it was wonderful seeing my client and DBEDC’s business partner, Upham's Corner Main Street, in the mix. The artwork on display by JayPix was truly stunning.
Congratulations to Dorchester Bay EDC on another successful open house—what a great way to kick off the final month of the year!

Throwback to the days when were printed, designed, and mailed.

This takes me back to my work with ACT Roxbury, the cultural economic development program of Madison Park Development Corporation. They brought me on to create their very first newsletter—a project I still remember fondly.

I loved the bold color palette of bright orange and green. I used to call them cantaloupe and melon—the same vibrant shades that filled their new offices at Hibernian Hall. Working with their small but mighty team was such a rewarding experience and a meaningful part of my design journey.

Today, newsletters have evolved. Most organizations now use platforms like Mail Chimp or Constant Contact—but great design is still at the heart of effective communication.
