Last year, JGJ Designs had the pleasure of attending the Boston Main Streets Foundation's 2025 Awards Celebration, and it was truly spectacular! This annual event shines a spotlight on the small businesses and exceptional volunteers who make the Main Street districts thrive.

I’m proud that JGJ Designs partners with clients like Roxbury Main Streets and Upham's Corner Main Street—and I can’t wait to celebrate alongside so many inspiring community leaders again this year.

Get ready for an evening of live music, an art exhibit, catered refreshments, a cash bar, a brief speaking program, and networking with old colleagues and new.

Not only did JGJ Designs serve as a vendor, but I was thrilled to be a participant in this year’s event!

On Saturday, September 6, I joined The Dimock Center for its 11th Annual Road to Wellness 5K Run/2-Mile Walk. JGJ Designs proudly assisted with the production of the official Road to Wellness , helping to set the tone for an inspiring community day.

After 12 weeks of training, receiving my certificate of completion, and finally walking the course, the experience was incredibly rewarding. Events like this truly show the power of design and collaboration in elevating and bringing the community together.

A huge congratulations to The Dimock Center on hosting such a well-organized, impactful event. I’m already looking forward to next year!

What we do at JGJ Designs

JGJ Designs was proud to partner with the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (ULEM) to support their mission through impactful design and creative services. From developing fundraising campaigns and promotional materials to ensuring consistent branding across all media platforms, we worked to strengthen ULEM’s visibility and community reach.

In addition to design services, Owner and Creative Director, Jacqueline G. Johnson, had the privilege of teaching the ULEM’s DigiUL, a graphic and digital design course. This program equipped adult community members with valuable skills in design and technology—tools that open doors to new opportunities in today’s digital world. To complement the course, JGJ Designs also created branded promotional materials that reflected the program’s professionalism and energy.

Not only do I provide and sign services as a vendor, but I’m also a proud supporter of TACC / The American City Coalition’s incredible community events.

Last weekend, I joined The The Joy of Kayaking 2025 through their Waterways program—an inspiring initiative connecting Roxbury and Dorchester residents to Boston’s waterfront for recreation, culture, and employment.

The day was filled with memorable experiences. I started with a beautiful henna tattoo, kayaked along the Fort Point Channel, sailed a tall ship with World Ocean School, and enjoyed easy rides with The TrikeHub. Lunch was provided by Zaz Restaurant and Catering, which was delicious, and I ended the day with a chocolate ice cream cone at the Hood Milk Bottle.

Many thanks to TACC for another wonderful event, and to Mother Nature for providing the perfect day on the water.

What a summer! As JGJ Designs gets ready to welcome fall, we’re reflecting on the many incredible networking events of the season. One highlight was this year’s Get Konnected! Ethnic Taste of Boston—the 11th annual celebration at The Grand Boston in the Seaport, and it did not disappoint.

It was such a pleasure to connect with colleagues, vendors, and friends at this amazing event. And let’s not forget one of the best surprises of the night—the lobster sliders from The Mixx. Absolutely delicious!

It was a fun and flavorful experience discovering local restaurants that we’ll definitely keep in mind for JGJ Designs’ Coffee with Colleagues and design meetings.
