The Elm is an outlet for the students of the Emerson Pre-College Creative Writing Workshop to share their work. We accept submissions of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, along with excerpts of screenplays and graphic novels. Fic

tion and non-fiction submissions must be 2500 words or under. Poetry submissions must be approximately 50 lines or less. Please feel free to add a brief personal bio with less than 50 words. All submissions should be sent to [email protected] in a Word document or .png format (for image files). Please include in the subject line of your email whether or not your submission is Fiction, Non-fiction, Poetry, or a Comic. So that our filters do not discard the email, please use those exact versions of the words(So use "Poetry" not "Poem"). Please also include your name in the email.
