SHARON, MA - On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Sharon Police Department took a report from an elderly resident who had been scammed out of $4,000 cash by a man going door-to-door offering to pave her driveway. The suspect allegedly collected the money upfront and never returned to perform the work.

Pusateri was transported to Stoughton District Court, where he was arraigned on charges stemming from the Sharon case, including:

West Bridgewater Police Seek Animal Cruelty Charge After Severely Malnourished Puppy Found During Traffic Stop | December 5, 2025

WEST BRIDGEWATER, MA - Chief Timothy Nixon announced that the West Bridgewater Police Department is seeking an Animal Cruelty charge against a 27-year-old Taunton man after officers discovered a severely underweight and malnourished puppy during a traffic stop late last month.

On Monday, Nov. 24, at approximately 11:49 a.m., Officer Alexandra Maloney conducted a traffic stop on North Main Street after observing a vehicle run a red light. During the stop, Officer Maloney noticed a dog inside the vehicle who appeared to be significantly underweight.

The dog, a 9-month-old puppy named Sprout, was transported to Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital, where she received immediate medical care.

A subsequent investigation assisted by Sgt. Russell Regan determined that the driver was Sprout’s owner and that the puppy was severely malnourished.

Following treatment, Sprout was transferred to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (APCSM), where staff report that her condition is slowly improving. The APCSM is raising funds to support Sprout’s recovery. More information is available at www.apcsm.org.

“We express our gratitude for the Westbridge Veterinary Referral Hospital and the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts,” said Lt. Jonathan Craven. “With their efforts, we are confident Sprout will be surrounded by the highest quality of care and support as she starts a long road to recovery.”

Police noted that because a criminal complaint has not yet been issued, the suspect’s identity cannot be released at this time.
