Summer slowdown also means we get separated from our laptop for long stretches of time like today! With vinyl due out on 9/4 which, if our math is mathin' correctly, puts it on the next ?!? They've also got a few shows on the way and while the closest one to now is sold the eff out (On 8/23 in Beverly), you can still find tix for their Warehouse XI show on 8/28 (Right after the record releases on 8/27) which also features Neverless.am, The Freqs, & Mallcops! The new one from The Barbarians Of California might be our most favorite of 2026 but we're reserving any solid rankings until the year is out. SNOT SIGNS WITH BLKIIBLK AHEAD OF NEW STUDIO ALBUM IN SUMMER 2027

BLKIIBLK is proud to welcome legendary California punk-metal pioneers SNOT to the label. The band is currently writing and recording its first new studio album in nearly three decades, arriving in summer 2027. New music will debut in early 2027, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their landmark album, “Get Some”.

Mikey Doling, founder and guitarist of SNOT, commented: “I am beyond thrilled to announce SNOT’s signing with BLKIIBLK Records! From my very first conversation with Mike Gitter, it was clear that the team at BLKIIBLK and SNOT were a perfect fit. They truly believe in what we’re doing, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. We're proud to be joining the Frontiers/BLKIIBLK family. Formed in Santa Barbara in 1995, SNOT forged an unmistakable collision of hardcore, punk, funk, groove, and metal. Their 1997 debut, “Get Some”, became a defining cult classic whose influence can still be heard throughout heavy music today.

Following Lynn Strait’s tragic passing in 1998, the surviving members honored him with the acclaimed tribute album “Strait Up”, featuring Jonathan Davis, Corey Taylor, Fred Durst, Serj Tankian, and more.

SNOT returned in 2025 with powerhouse vocalist Andy Knapp and has since experienced an extraordinary resurgence, performing at major festivals and selling out headline shows across North America and Europe.

The current lineup features Mikey Doling (guitar), John Fahnestock (bass), Jamie Miller (drums), and Andy Knapp (vocals), with Doc Coyle joining as touring support guitarist.
