The Advanced Screening for "Is That All There Is?" was a total success! Friends and family, cast and crew all joined together to celebrate the first installment of the film series at the Somerville Theater! "Is That All There Is?" is a four-part film series about a young man's coming of age under the pressure of his diplomat father, the guidance of a mysterious fisherman, and the constant cries of nature begging him to discover the beauty that exists all around.

Hi Facebook Friends! Issy Khan recently wrote and directed a short film, “Is That All There Is?”

Premise: When Kader’s family goes on vacation to a small fishing town, the startling environment and a mysterious, young fisherman force Kader to confront his true nature. This is the first part of a four-part short film series.

Please support this exciting, new Q***r film series! by purchasing a ticket to the Advanced Screening taking place on August 9th at Somerville Theater! Your ticket includes a seat at the screening as well as free entry to THE AFTRPRTY at Casey’s in Somerville, MA which will take place directly after. Local and national producers, writers, and filmmakers will be present, all primarily BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color). We will have a Raffle Table with the film’s merch and a dance party featuring R&B Throwbacks, Brazilian Phonk, Reggaeton, and Pop Hits.
