Expressions the Discovery Series
Internship/Volunteer

Expressions is a two (2) hour guest interactive radio show with live &/or recorded interviews including musical highlights.
Location: Zumix 260 Sumner Street, East Boston, MA 02128

Requirements: Be available to record live broadcast. All shows air Fridays from 11:00 AM. – 3:00 PM

Hours Per Week (Anticipated): 3-4 HPW

Term/Duration: The position has the potential to extend beyond the summer, based on the performance, availability of the chosen candidate and an extended season for additional notable guest.

Compensation: There is no stipend, honorarium, lodging and/or travel per Diem available. Zumix is a non-profit, youth educational organization. Host will work with current academic source to acquire curriculum credit. If the intern also assists in film editing, credit will list in final cut.

Qualifications:
· Field Production Pre-Req. Training with Studio Equipment – 1 hr. Training LCTV – Lynn
· This class introduces the basics on setup/ tripod, basic station Sony camera operations, use of audio equipment and lights.
· International students are welcome to apply. An existing Visa is required from the university. International students must be in compliance with their visa by receiving academic credit.
· “To be eligible, you must not require sponsorship now or in the future”

Hey People! This is J. T. Potter the host of a remarkable radio concept. “Expressions with Potter” is a non-generic experience of Todays Music. Not boring radio or listless & tedious top 40. This, ‘Expressions Session’ was developed for the entire family. No specific genre’s just great, memorable music. It’s Music for the new Millennial, Motivation for the ‘On the Move Professional’ and ‘Jazz for the Modern Age’.
