Our main objective is to promote Gender Equality and Women rights with a Vision to see more Young Women Taking Positions of Leadership and Position of Influence enabling them to make decisions and introduce new procedures and practices as a Means of Empowering Themselves, Bring about Change, Promote Gender Equality and Inclusive Development. Sisterhood for Change and Empowerment Center is open platform At Sisterhood for Change and Empowerment Center; We carry advocacy actions such as Gender Equality Policy Dialogues to ensure Equality between Women and Men to actively and efficiently participate in the monitoring of Policies concerning Gender Equality and women rights in the political, Economic, social and cultural fields and develop good advocacy practices that focuses on advocacy and monitoring of the progress of women related policies. The main aims are:
(1) To motivate young women to embrace leadership positions and positions of influence to bring about change as well be engaged in community leadership as a means of empowering themselves and promote gender equality for inclusive development. (3) To make young women agents of change and bring out change they desire in their communities. Our Key areas of focus include:
1) Offering capacity building training on leadership development for young women on how to engage and develop their leadership skills that would enable them to tap untapped resources for centuries to be able to transform their communities and societies.
2) Advocacy actions and develop good advocacy practices on human rights and women rights such as girl child education to access to basic and higher levels of education to eliminate Harmful cultural practices i.e. End child marriage and Female Ge***al Mutilation.
3) Mentorship programmes in schools (one woman to one girl campaign)
