SCENE MOM SAYS: Wayback Wednesday to May of 2023! I was so honored to have both of these awesome humans join me at my Farewell AZ party! Ed Masley is a musician (The Breakup Society ) and also the music reporter for azcentral. Bob Hoag is also a musician and owns the awesome studio Flying Blanket Recording. What I recently discovered is they were BOTH in a band back in the 90's called The Frampton Brothers. All their music is up on streaming- I know I'll be taking a deep dive on my 9 hour drive!
Why do I bring this up? Because this weekend I'm travelling to Pittsburg to see their reunion show at The Government Center!
I also get to spend some time with fellow AZ escapees Harper Lines & Amber Johnson so it's an AZ reunion in PA! If you haven't guessed I'm super psyched! I have music to thank for these friendships.💜

SCENE MOM SAYS: My second stop on Saturday was Sonia in Cambridge for the Lovina Falls EP release show! I don't head into the Boston area very often since it's easily 90 minutes of driving each way (more during the week!) but I really wanted to get out and see my friends BumbleBee Radio and Knyvet. Oh and the awesome music too! I had never heard Gene Dante & the Future Starlets before, and I'm so glad I know their music now! Plus great to hear Count Zero live too. A great evening indeed, and awesome to run into some Happy Little Clouds too! 💜

SCENE MOM SAYS: Had a busy Saturday, first the GALA- Gardner Area League of Artists 25th anniversary bash in Winchendon with Sound Bites Events! A great afternoon of music, art, and ice cream. The building used to be the Jr. High, and now it's mainly the Senior Center but it's definitely a multi-purpose building. Awesome music from Brian Dickens, Franco O'Malley & Very-Kate & Ashley.
