Mindset Monday- they’re watching 👀❤️

Yesterday was one of those days I look forward to all year- Mother’s day with my kids.

I had the most beautiful brunch with my boys — catching up on life, talking about what’s next, and just soaking in quality time together. Parenting now is such a different season than the earlier years.

When kids are young, so much of parenting feels like you are always asking questions, giving direction, teaching, and trying to pull things out of them. (especially teenagers!)

But yesterday was much different.

What struck me most was how observant they’ve become. The conversations that flow, the things they notice — it hit me that they’ve been paying attention. To the marathon journey. The career milestones. The giving back. It was so refreshing for them to initiate all the questions!

And it reminded me of something really important:

Not all parenting happens out loud.

Sometimes the most powerful message is simply in how we show up.

By taking care of our health at any age. By choosing personal growth over standing still.

They are watching.

And maybe that’s the reminder.

The way we live, grow, and show up for ourselves quietly gives the people around us permission to do the same.

Especially our kids. 💙💙

Coming this October to Tatnuck Country Club!

Last fall’s inaugural event was truly memorable, and this year we’re raising the bar — bigger, better, and more impactful than ever. Worcester County will once again come together in support of Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with one shared goal: granting as many wishes as possible for children who need them most.
