We started this journey knowing we had a bit of a race against winter, so without really meaning to, we started treating the map like something we needed to get through. Five Airbnbs in a week and a half, constantly packing and unpacking, driving, working, filming, trying to cook with groceries that somehow need to move house every three days 😂
Then we left Washington and I felt genuinely sad. Not because I wasn’t excited for what was next, but because I finally felt like I was getting to know somewhere… and suddenly it was time to leave.
It reminded me why we did this in the first place.
We didn’t turn our lives upside down to collect states😬
