Una scampagnata nel Bosco di Sant'Antonio🌲 One of my most cherished memories from my recent visit back home was a family picnic in the Bosco di Sant'Antonio.

This forest is stunning and peaceful. It is located in the municipality of Pescocostanzo, in the heart of the Majella National Park. It is famous for its centuries-old "candelabra-shaped" beech forest and beautiful scenic trails.

It was a perfect escape from the heat while enjoying a relaxing day with family. A must visit destination in Abruzzo 🇮🇹❤️

While visiting family in Sulmona, Assunta Ficorilli told me about a favorite recipe of hers, Farfalle in Salsa Verde alla Clemente. Her husband's nonno used to be a cook at Ristorante Clemente, where this dish was very popular at weddings. I listened to her describe the ingredients and the process, I knew I had to try and make it. This dish was super easy to make and very flavorful. It calls for ground meat, but it can be made without for those who may not eat meat - as long as it's made with love 🥰🇮🇹🍷

Celli pieni (more commonly called celli ripieni) are a traditional pastry from the Abruzzo region of Italy. 🇮🇹

I had them for the first time during my last visit to Sulmona and loved them so much that I asked for the recipe. Of course, I had to make them myself 🤗

They were easy, fun to make and delicious 😋... and as always, made with love. 🥰🇮🇹❤️

Pasta and zucchini 😋 Fresh, simple, and full of flavor!!! My cousin Marisa made this for me during my visit back home last week, and it was delicious 😋
Whether you're craving something fresh for lunch or a comforting dinner, this zucchini pasta is sure to become a favorite. It's super easy to make and you can add a protein of your choice to it if you'd like, or not 😊 and as always, made with love 🍷🇮🇹🥰
