puppyhood is so bittersweet — everything is a first experience, a training opportunity, a momentous occasion — and it is so fleeting. I feel like I blinked and my little puppy is growing so quickly! (also, her little curls coming in are so silly and cute ✨)

Prim (aka. Primmie, aka. Lucky Leg Prim/LLP, aka. Miss Piggy) is happy to have sisters who love her so much. It’s been a few days at home & everyone is getting along so well!

it’s been almost five years since we packed up and headed for the mountains. ↟

that move was the start of everything, but the real adventure began when we brought home a scruffy little rescue dog named Leia. nurturing her from a sickly, undersocialized puppy and watching her discover all the beauty this world has to offer was, and still is, my greatest accomplishment. she was the original inspiration behind starting our visual diary , and she’s the reason this pack exists today.

but it’s always been about the adventure—from the first hike to navigating the agility ring and the rockies with our growing pack. I’ve felt our horizon shifting.

we’re officially stepping into our next era as .unleashed 🌟

this handle feels like home because it’s how we live: high-drive, off-trail, and constantly moving. with Eden and Prim added to the family, the pack is fuller and the adventures are only getting bigger.

to us, being “unleashed” isn’t about the literal meaning—it’s about a lifestyle without limits. It’s the freedom that comes from solid training, the bond built trying new things, and the trust that allows us to explore the wildest places together responsibly.

we’ve loved our time in colorful colorado, but we’re preparing to take our unleashed lifestyle to the midwest this fall. new trails, new trials, and the same wild spirit.

Introducing Outrun’s Primed to Ignite 🏹🌼⚡️✨ ‘Prim’

Somehow in the chaos over the last year, I stopped trying to control ‘what’s next’ for us & saved some room in my heart for the unexpected.. Our hearts just kept leading us back to Border Collies, and not just any Border Collie, but E’s half-sister. ✨🥹

Because of her, I am always going to believe something wonderful is out there — what’s truly yours will always find its way to you.

I’m so grateful to Eden, for guiding us to the qualities I truly love in a dog… as Suzanne Collins wrote: “I told her I would try to win, try to win for her.” She was the spark that started it all, setting us up in this moment to fan the flames. Jess, Pam and Tammy, for matching us with the perfect girl with a stunning working pedigree to boot! And thanks to Cyber and Jock, for making such beautiful, confident & strong puppies together. This little one is already everything I ever could have dreamed of and more 🧡
