Releasing a 10 song cover album I’ve been working on for over a year, so soooooon. Honoring my godfather and mom’s little listening club Castle Creek that had its heyday during the 70s creative explosion in Austin. It was a barn raise of teenage best friends booking folks like Muddy Waters, Jimmy Buffett, Bonnie Raitt, TVZ, John Prine and the like, when many of these artists were unknowns. It’s been such a treat to work with so many incredible austin artists who were in these original bands. Teasing it out her with many more thank you’s and shoutouts ahead!

Satisfied and tickled too and so proud of all these other dear friends I’ve been snapping pics of as of late in pursuit of their own great perhaps! How lucky are we?

BTS from our film Built for More.

I count it a real joy to help tell as he rucks 1000mi in 40 days across Tx. This man has so much light, love and lord beaming through him and it’s been a real treat to share space and time with him, his family and community.

I love unpacking the ways a labor as gritty as rucking can shine through in the gentle strength of women walking water, children and provisions through millennia or in the grace of carrying a loved one when they’re down.

Learning so much through this film. I love what we get to do.
