Dogs can teach us so much. Jubilee is a fighter, she fought an autoimmune disease and is fighting cancer. Twice. But she doesn’t let it slow her down! She is still happy, still playful, still cuddly and lives life to the fullest when it’s at its darkest. I hope one day to have the same bravery and whimsy as Jubilee!

Jubilee Cancer Update:

Wednesday we had our follow up with the oncologist for an ultrasound and bloodwork.

The good news is the chemo is stopping the tumor from growing any further! The bad news is her red blood cells are at a dangerously high level.

To reduce risk of a clot, etc. we are having a procedure done Tuesday which will help remove some of those cells and replace them with fluid. This should help improve her quality of life as the last few weeks we’ve noticed she’s been a bit more tired than usual.

To be honest, I was hoping for a Christmas miracle that her tumor disappeared and she would be in remission. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. But we’re going to give her the best quality of life care as long as possible 🩷
