Aug. 16, 2025 ARM Newsfeed: Shout-out congratulations to one intelligently empowering & inspiring woman, Dr. Meena Wadhwa, selected as Vice Chancellor for Marine Sciences at University of California San Diego and 12th Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography!

A highly selected group of human beings reach this prestige in the scientific community & I am truly proud of my friend Dr. Meena Wadhwa for this selection! I also thank her for allowing Angel Rising Magazine to do a feature interview about her in 2017 & subsequently becoming ARM's 1st highly acclaimed Indian American cover girl! Indeed, she is empowering women to change the world.

Angel Rising Magazine (ARM) lovingly recognizes Shelley Rose Altares, our special artist feature in the Angel Art Gallery section of the Spring-Summer 2025 issue of Angel Rising Magazine. ARM will promote passionate female artists & this time showcasing Shelley Rose’s “Angel” pencil drawing as she affirms belief in the protection of celestial beings God sends her way. Shelley Rose is one of six rare special needs recipients of medical & life care assistance from Project Michelangelo Foundation (PMF) in the Philippines.

The Prestigious Angel Rising Magazine, a no-cost online empowerment magazine for women by women is now open for submissions! Here is your chance to be published in an international magazine, a humanitarian & empowerment division of Project Michelangelo Foundation 1st published in 2015.

Deadline: Aug. 31, 2025, so start brainstorming or getting inspiration for your submission! Please read instructions below:

- Open worldwide for creative women writers, poets, submissions within a 400-word count limit please.
- For our Angel Art Gallery, 1 or 2 entries. Photo of original artwork or photography with a “title” & a concise 3-5 sentence description about the piece within our current theme of EMPATHY,
dimensions, medium used, name, country of origin, price & contact info if for sale.
- For recipes, include a hi-res original photo of the dish you wish to feature & a headshot photo of the chef.
