I found out today that my film "One Mind", a story about an emotional support dog and his owner who suffers PTSD, is being subtitled in French for use in promotion of PTSD awareness in France and the French military. I hope it can be helpful!

Victor Hurtado has a very successful career as a musician, producer and talent coach, but due to emotional challenges and PTSD it was recommended he explore the use of a PTSD service dog to help him be more independent and feel safer while outside his home. It wasn’t until he met Holly that he beg...

I am proud to say I am the new owner of an original V-42 knife!! The knife designed for and used by the Black Devils in WWII, and is now the emblem used by modern day Special Forces!! This is not a replica. It is in pristine condition! I never thought I'd own one, but the opportunity came along and I pulled the trigger!! I'm so grateful to own this amazing item that represents the history and bravery of the Black Devils probably more than any other I can think of! To the Force!!

I am having a tough time processing the loss of one of my greatest friends and hero. John DeSalme impacted my life maybe more than any other person I've known. I completed a fantastic career as a military musician and enjoy the fruits of that career thanks to a single phone call from John. And that's just ONE of the things he did for me! His influence as a musician and real friend was never taken for granted. I am grateful that we always told one another "I love you" and shared our stories, interests and lives in the most enthusiastic and trusting ways. He cared about me, loved me and never judged, and I'm sure everyone that was his friend would say the same thing. I just happen to be one of the luckiest ones because I sat next to him for years and experienced, every day, his humor, curiosity, kindness commitment and his musical genius. ME! I got to do that!! I can live the rest of my life remembering and honoring him and know he was my brother.

It's a good week! A short dramatic film that some friends and I produced, The Conversation, was voted Best Super Short at the Absurd Film Festival. I've never heard of that category but I'll take it! lol. This project was done as an exercise for the actors, myself. and the composer, Tony Nalker. Shot in one day in a basement apartment on Capitol Hill. As the award suggests, it's super short! You can see the film here:

I am excited to share a video of some incredible music that I had the privilege to shoot while it was being recorded at Chicago Recording Company and Mix Kitchen May 17, 18 & 19. 'Rhapsody in Raag Jog' is an original orchestral composition written by Drew Zaremba to feature my friend Anjan Shah on bansuri flute and tenor sax. Monumental performances on guitar, bass, strings and tabla on this beautiful composition are worthy of everyone's attention. This is a highlight of both my video and music careers! Enjoy!

Drawing inspiration from legendary composers like Gershwin and Rachmaninoff, 'Rhapsody in राग जोग (Raag Jog)' weaves a rich tapestry of melodies and rhythms,…
