one thing i have learned lately is that the devil, the war in your mind, & spiritual warfare—whatever form it takes— will constantly make you question whether you are doing enough.
ugh!!
i stack a list up daily & constantly hear the lie… “yep. see… you’re still a loser. still failing.”
you can never catch up. you can never do enough. if you do this, you can’t do that. & if you don’t do that, then what are we even doing???
gosh darn it, i wish my mind would just stop!
stop with the comparison.
stop with the to-do list.
stop with the constant battle between performing & hiding to avoid it all.
i need more of the in-between moments.
it’s hard every day to find them, but when i do… when i breathe, when i hear the word, when i’m reassured through a song or by a sunrise—
He is there.
be still, my child, & know I am here.
if you’re in a season of doubt, comparison, or feeling like you’re never enough… you’re not alone, sister!
& when the lies get loud, don’t forget to listen for the truth. He is still there!
