Meet Willow. 💙

She’s 15 years old, a high school sophomore, and absolutely lights up when it comes to theater—whether she’s watching a performance or helping backstage as part of the tech crew. 🎭✨

Though she once loved being center stage, high school brought some self-doubt, and she’s found her confidence again behind the scenes, where she’s thriving in tech crew roles. Willow is also enrolled in college-level courses through her high school and holds herself to incredibly high standards—she works hard and puts so much heart into everything she does.

She’s fun, bubbly, brilliant, and has a smile that’s absolutely contagious. ☀️

Willow is also autistic. She’s diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorder related to Autism, ADHD related to Autism, and Pica due to her oral sensory needs. These parts of her neurodivergence don’t define her—but they are important, valid, and worth sharing. Every piece of who she is adds to the incredible, vibrant human she is becoming.

I had the absolute joy of photographing Willow as part of my ongoing work as an autism advocate and creative. This session was gifted to her—with love, intention, and a whole lot of heart. Stories like Willow’s deserve to be seen, celebrated, and shared.

Hey y’all!

It’s been a little while since I last checked in, and I wanted to share some exciting updates for 2025—both in life and business!

For the past two years, I’ve been juggling my photography business alongside a full-time role as an Amazon Marketplace Specialist. But as time went on, balancing everything became harder, and my passions started taking a backseat. More importantly, the stress of that lifestyle was taking a toll on our family. With Grayson’s autism and his growing need for support, it became clear that the traditional 8-to-5 corporate life just wasn’t working for us. Between therapy appointments, school schedules, and having a (now) 16-month-old at home, we’ve realized that our family simply doesn’t fit inside that box—and honestly, we probably never will.

So, after a lot of thought, we made the decision to resign from my full-time job. It’s been almost two weeks since I took that leap, and while it’s been an adjustment, it’s also been a relief. I’ve spent this time getting our life back in order, setting Grayson up with more resources, and really reflecting on what’s next for me and my business.

And I’m so excited for what’s coming! I’ve been studio shopping for upcoming sessions (can’t wait to share more details soon!), and I’m also expanding my business beyond family photography. This year, I’ll be stepping more into the marketing world—helping businesses with branding, promotional content, and video marketing. This is something I've always had but I am excited to lean more into this part of my business and grow!

If you’ve been here for a while, thank you for your continued support—it truly means the world to me. And if you’re new, welcome! I can’t wait to share more about this next chapter and all the creative things ahead.

My sweet girl has transitioned from the precious newborn stage to her 4 month milestone. There’s a moment between 3-4months where your newborn starts looking like a “baby” and it’s such a bittersweet moment. It happens almost overnight where one week you have this sweet smoosh and the next we are awake more, a little chunkier and finding the giggles. I love this stage & every but time please slow down 🥹💛

I’ve been quiet for the last few months evaluating where we should take things this year.. although I will be shifting my business a little bit and expanding in some areas I am happy to keep family and precious moments photography and videography apart of what I do.
