Meet Willow. 💙

She’s 15 years old, a high school sophomore, and absolutely lights up when it comes to theater—whether she’s watching a performance or helping backstage as part of the tech crew. 🎭✨

Though she once loved being center stage, high school brought some self-doubt, and she’s found her confidence again behind the scenes, where she’s thriving in tech crew roles. Willow is also enrolled in college-level courses through her high school and holds herself to incredibly high standards—she works hard and puts so much heart into everything she does.

She’s fun, bubbly, brilliant, and has a smile that’s absolutely contagious. ☀️

Willow is also autistic. She’s diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorder related to Autism, ADHD related to Autism, and Pica due to her oral sensory needs. These parts of her neurodivergence don’t define her—but they are important, valid, and worth sharing. Every piece of who she is adds to the incredible, vibrant human she is becoming.

I had the absolute joy of photographing Willow as part of my ongoing work as an autism advocate and creative. This session was gifted to her—with love, intention, and a whole lot of heart. Stories like Willow’s deserve to be seen, celebrated, and shared.

My sweet girl has transitioned from the precious newborn stage to her 4 month milestone. There’s a moment between 3-4months where your newborn starts looking like a “baby” and it’s such a bittersweet moment. It happens almost overnight where one week you have this sweet smoosh and the next we are awake more, a little chunkier and finding the giggles. I’ve been quiet for the last few months evaluating where we should take things this year.. although I will be shifting my business a little bit and expanding in some areas I am happy to keep family and precious moments photography and videography apart of what I do. If you’ve tried to reach me, message or Facebook is the best route! My website is getting a little overhaul and will hopefully be up mid March.
