Nostalgia can be found in even the most seemingly mundane things, like the aging hands of a loved one. Christina Colovos' poem "Hands", included in Issue 20 of the Talisman magazine, expresses just that.

Artist Statement: "Hands" has been special to me since I first wrote it on an aimless June day. I was at home with my family when I realized how much lighter my dad's hair had become since my childhood. This poem is not necessarily directed towards him, but is rather a statement on the observation of an aging parent and the painful nostalgia of this strange, beautiful process.
