WOW! Just wow. Ariana and Nick were so much fun to work with. I even got to work with the BEST decor rental company in northern Michigan, www.facebook.com/heartweddingdesign to bring their entire vision to life.

A+ Entertains was born out of one simple belief: your wedding should feel like you.

Not a template. Not just a playlist.

We spend time learning your story, your energy, your “why,” so that when the night comes, everything feels natural — like the soundtrack to your life.

That’s what drives me. Seeing two people completely lost in their moment, surrounded by friends and family, knowing we helped create that feeling.

It’s more than music — it’s memories.

This moment came from a conversation we had about the beer that Wyatt and Mercedes shared on their first date in Arizona. IMMEDIATELY after that Zoom, I called my DJ friends in Arizona, and had them (semi-legally) ship me some of this beer. I presented it to them during their Love Story. They had no idea (obviously).

Long before I ever mixed my first wedding set, I was chasing sound.

A few strings on a mandolin, the vibration of a violin, the heartbeat of a guitar, that’s where it all started. That love of music as emotion is what shaped everything I do today.

Whether I’m DJing a packed dance floor or playing live during a ceremony, it’s all the same mission: helping people feel something real.

Yesterday, I went to a wedding as a guest for the first time in a long time.

It’s funny how different things look when you’re not behind the decks, running the timeline, or keeping the dance floor packed. You start noticing the feeling of the night, the laughter between families, the look in the couple’s eyes, the tiny moments that make a day unforgettable.

The little things.

Being on the “other side” reminded me just how important what we do, and how we do it, really is. The music, the flow, the energy, it’s what carries every emotion and memory through the night.

Yesterday wasn’t about performance. It was about perspective. And it made me even more grateful to be part of something that helps people celebrate their once-in-a-lifetime moments.

It also made me so very thankful for my mentors and coaches. Our couples are so important to us, and we give them our all.

🎧 Behind every DJ, there’s usually a four-legged sidekick (or three) keeping us grounded.

When I’m not behind the decks making memories at weddings, I’m at home hanging out with our three rescued Pitbulls. They’ve been there for late-night playlist sessions, quiet reflection after amazing weddings, and every creative spark in between.

One of them even escaped our rental to join my wife and I during our wedding photos. She was so bad.

I always say — if I can make people feel the way my dog makes me feel when I walk through the door, I’ve done my job. 🐾
