Looking for something inspiring? PBS has got you covered! 😍
This short documentary, made by a brilliant young guy, Samuel Habib, and his brother Isaiah, tells the story of young Samuel who wants to date, leave home, and go to college. Yet every rite of passage is fraught with challenges. “No one tells you how to be an adult,” he says, “let alone an adult with a disability.” Told with humor, candor, and vulnerability, this is a gem! A community of disability activists help Samuel Habib, 21, navigate the path to adulthood.

"During the study, the four farms that received dogs saw an almost 90 percent drop in GPS detections of collared bears within roughly 1,000 feet of the farmstead. And there was a 58-fold reduction in camera-trap detections of bears compared with neighboring farms that did not get dogs."

Bears have recently acquired a fondness for the good eating found around grain bins on Montana’s plains. That’s a big problem for humans and grizzlies alike.

"The E.P.A.’s science office provides the independent research that underpins nearly all of the agency’s policies and regulations. It has analyzed the risks of hazardous chemicals, the impact of wildfire smoke on public health and the contamination of drinking water by hydraulic fracturing, or fracking." 🧪💧🔥

The decision comes after a Supreme Court ruling allowing the Trump administration to slash the federal work force and dismantle agencies.

About MontanaPBS

Quality television has the power to elevate our understanding of the world, encourage respect for one another, and influence our lives in a positive way. MontanaPBS shares diverse stories; connects our citizens; discovers common ground; and celebrates the independent spirit and beauty of Montana.

On October 1, 1984 viewers in the Gallatin Valley experienced the first over-the-air signal from KUSM-TV. MSU had received permission from the FCC, The Montana Board of Regents, and The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) to rebroadcast the KUED, Salt Lake City signal as its primary programming source. This first service was a response to a citizens group representing the growing non-cabled area surrounding Bozeman. They asked if MSU could find a way to combine the promised gift of a transmitter and antenna from a commercial broadcaster (Joe Sample) with their need for quality childrens' programming.

Our Mission: Quality television has the power to elevate our understanding of the world, encourage respect for one another, and influence our lives in a positive way. MontanaPBS shares diverse stories; connects our citizens; discovers common ground; and celebrates the independent spirit and beauty of Montana.
