A Washington state aerospace and defense manufacturer, Janicki, has selected Great Falls, Montana, as the site of a new $800 million manufacturing campus, bringing more than 2,000 jobs to the region over the next decade.

Construction is expected to begin in July, with the first phase of the campus anticipated to open by the end of 2027.

Bozeman Public Library’s Summer Learning Program begins with a celebration. Summer Learning will begin with a kickoff celebration on Saturday, June 6.

Free Summer Lunch for kids and teens, offered in partnership with HRDC, returns to the Library beginning June 15 and to other locations throughout Gallatin County.

On Monday, Manhattan Christian School's Head of School Nathanael Hope, Athletic Director/Head Boys Basketball Coach Layne Glaus, School Counselor Cooper Dixon, and others celebrated 18 seniors whom they will bid farewell to on Tuesday evening at graduation ceremonies, on Senior Awards Night, which was followed by the seniors presenting an overview to the MCS community of their individual Senior Projects.

On Tuesday, June 2, a minority of registered Montanans will vote in dozens of primaries, deciding who’ll have a shot at — or, in many cases, a virtual lock on — seats in Congress, the state Public Service Commission, and Montana’s Legislature. By picking winners and losers in competitive GOP primaries, Tuesday’s vote will exert a huge influence on the future direction of the state’s Republican Party. And by choosing standard-bearers for minority-party challenges, it may also help decide the Democratic Party’s future in Montana.

Some may say they failed. I didn’t see it that way. I saw a group of players and coaches who won and lost with class and in doing so set a legacy for all who follow.

Congrats go out to Missoula Sentinel for their title. But ya know, I’ll take a team of Sam Talbot’s, Cash Tasker’s, and Weston Vincent’s (Park High’s catcher) any day before I take a title and still be satisfied. Happy even. Because I know I have a team of ball players who would do anything for their teammates, school, and community, and to me thats worth more than some hardware.
