It was great seeing everyone in Red Lodge Montana this weekend! Awesome new venue and the and courses were epic.

Highlight of the weekend was grilling us steaks on a cast iron over the campfire while listening to Led Zeppelin, thanks Norm!! This is what these events are about!!

Also got to hang out with a little black bear while shooting the Prime course Sunday.

Cow elk have learned to adapt with heavy predator populations by calving in areas you might not expect. Here a cow elk gets territorial with two mountain goat billies a day before having her calf on the same face. The steep, high country isn’t frequented very often by bears and it seems like these elk have motherhood pretty dialed. The things you see spring bear hunting.
