A 31-acre site—from the former K-Mart location on 7th Avenue to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds—is set to become Bozeman Square: one of Montana’s largest mixed-use developments. With more than 1 million square feet planned, the project will include retail, residential, arts, entertainment, hotels and restaurants. Phase 1 is expected to break ground in 2026.

The quilt on Malcolm's lap is the 1892 Capitol Story quilt, a "crazy quilt" covered with different fabrics and embroidery on the front with signatures of the people who put it together on the back. Stop by the Gallatin History Museum to learn about this and two other collaboratively constructed quilts.

SCAM ALERT: The Montana Department of Justice's Office of Consumer Protection is warning Montanans of a new text message scam that falsely claims to be from an official government agency, alerting individuals to traffic violations.

As a reminder, law enforcement and government agencies do not send texts asking for money for unpaid tickets or toll road fees. Do not click on any links or scan the QR code.
