Carl Fredrick Hansen grew up in the north woods of Minnesota near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. The pristine wilderness, clear waters, and brilliant night skies inspired Carl to find and create beauty in all sources of nature. At seventeen he attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN and in 2008 he enrolled at the University of Montana in Missoula. He graduated in 2011 wit

h a B.A. in media arts with a focus in digital filmmaking. After working both large scale productions and small independent films, Carl decided to strike out on his own. In December of 2012, Hansen International Productions (H.I.P.) Its mission? To create stunning digital media in order to vividly capture personal or business goals.

Next up for HIP is a project for the Flute Reed Partnership in NE Minnesota. They are doing some amazing work in the field of wild land and fishery restoration. This will be an ongoing project for the summer so be sure to check in for updates! Here's some more info on the FRP.
