Congress told us to “go fund yourself” so that’s what we’re doing. We’re turning to the public to help make up a $68,000 shortfall from our loss of CPB funding.

And to do it, we’re getting loud and shouting our love for KGLT from the rooftops for the new three-day fall Friends ‘N Fund Drive. (One of our signals does actually come from a rooftop, so this tracks.)

Join in on events this week to connect with other fans of the station, enjoy special discounts on swag in the donor lounge, and most importantly, keep tuned in to KGLT.

Find the full events list at https://kglt.net/2025/10/friend-n-fund-drive-november-11-13/ and the Donor Lounge at https://donate.kglt.net.

We’re ready for Wear Your KGLT Shirt or Hat Day tomorrow, are you?

To mark the start of our three-day Friends ‘N Fund Drive, we hope you’ll join us, dig through those closets, and show your love for KGLT on the outside.

And if you see someone rocking that KGLT swag — wave, smile, high-five, jump up and down, shout “KGLT!” or whatever moves you. Because it takes all of us to keep independent radio alive and loud.

The fourth way funding losses impact KGLT is through support of our transmission equipment. What’s at stake here is how you are able to tune in to KGLT.

From the mountains to the valleys, our transmitters keep KGLT’s signal strong across Southwest Montana: Bozeman, Big Sky, Livingston, Helena, Gardiner, Big Timber and all the spaces in between. Your support maintains that strength and reach by funding our transmission equipment.
