Just updated the submission page for Cowboy Up.

3 new submissions received bringing the total to 5. Submissions opened on 1 March and will close on July 31st.

Proceeds from Cowboy Up will be donated to the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund.

Check out the guidelines here: https://www.wolfsingerpubs.com/cowboy-up-guidelines - I am hoping to get stories that feature each of the events: Ba****ck riding, Saddle Bronc riding, Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, etc. As well a stories about the other people involved in the sport - Bull Fighters, Pickup Men, even the judges and secretaries can factor into a story. If it relates to rodeo - go for it. The only serious requirement is that the story cannot paint the sport in a bad light.

We are looking for stories up to 7500 words in length that feature the sport of Rodeo. They can be in any genre as long as the sport of Rodeo is a key part of the story.

First submission for Cowboy Up received this morning.

Technically it would be the second as I had previously reached out to one of the authors who appeared in This Ain't No Rodeo about reprinting his story from that collection in Cowboy Up.

Gotta love the sc*mm*rs (trying to prevent them from commenting)

My posts about the issues I had over the weekend sure drew them in - I deleted quite a few comments and blocked the offenders.

Honestly, if the person is unable to access - they will not see your post telling you to contact so-n-so (s**m**r) and once they can access - they do not need your advice. Not that they really need it to begin with.

Another March release - this one from Ted Pennella - Infinity.

In the distant future, when peace between humanity and the artificial intelligences their ancestors created has been settled, Conrad Conner tries to live a quiet and unassuming life in orbit about Jupiter on the city-station Socrates’ Odyssey. When Conner’s attempt to create a prototypical communication artificial for use by the Sol-Humana Confederation’s Stellar Fleet gets derailed by the attempted murder of the very artificial he’s created, his life spirals into a mad flight back to Earth to try and save at least his sister’s children, if not his sister herself. Past failures and heartaches resurface as seemingly unconnected dots become a plot by the First Admiral to steal not just power over the Confederation, but a secret Conner holds within himself.

A secret not even Conner knows about.

I'm back - ended up locked out of my page for 2 days after the back and forth of resetting the password. Looks like what they were doing was using my ad account to run ads. My ad account was disabled as a result of my sending an email after seeing the unusual charges pop up on my PP account. Now trying to get that all sorted with Meta and my account reinstated so I can still do my new release ads when books are released.

Problem occurred because two-factor authentication was turned on - but not linked to my phone properly. (Corrected). my phone and laptop had been deleted from the authorized devices section of the account security screen - so had to wait on FB to verify my identity.

Gotta love technology and the scammers who use it to steal.

Blasted FB Hackers - I just played change my password for about 15 minutes. I was checking my advertising account and while in the session was told I had to reenter my password - password didn't work. Reset the password - removed two people who had been added in the last hour (That I didn't add) remove a post that didn't look anything I posted - plus it was posted while I was still asleep this morning according to the time stamp. Logged out of all devices.

Logged back in on the laptop - went to log into the phone - password was an old password - so the new password had already been changed.

Went through the reset password again - removed two more posts that been added during the time I was resetting passwords. Rinse repeat - had to do it a third time.

Seems to have stuck this time. (I hope)

Let me know if you see anything weird coming from any of my accounts.

Another planned March Release:

Flatlanders by Mike Sherer

Young theoretical physicist Mickey Haiku has fallen into Eden’s trap. She is a much smarter scientist who is intent on saving her own dimension by destroying his. Unbeknownst to either, beings from several yet higher dimensions have their own strategies. This sends the mixed-up pawns off on a wild odyssey through a dozen weird twisted dimensions. As if this hyper-dimensional odyssey isn’t challenging enough for Mickey, he has the additional difficulty of embarking on this whacko tour as a (pregnant!) female. Which means Eden is stuck in Mickey’s body. The two are soon forced to
cooperate since each holds the other’s body hostage.

The strangest relationship this side of the 11th dimension develops between the two.

Looking at the possibility of a few releases in March - so will start posting about them.

The Fires of Rapiveshta - Book Three: A Familiar's Tale by Verna McKinnon

With Obysidia’s chaos growing and more kingdoms falling under her control, Runa, Mellypip and their friends scramble to find a way to stop her from discarding her mortal form and claiming their world in the name of her Eternal Father Ahridum and plunging it into a never-ending age of darkness and evil.

The dragons of Rapiveshta are awakened from their long slumber by Obsysidia’s attempt to steal the egg that holds the unborn dragon who will become the next leader of the dragon clans. The egg is given to Runa’s grandfather to protect it. When it hatches, Mellypip finds himself bonded to the baby dragon as her guardian.

As Obsydia reaches the climax of the ritual that will burn away her mortality, Runa, Opaline and Panthara find themselves captured to be used as sacrifices. Will the Gate of Souls claim Runa and Mellypip as the Winged Fey have foreseen? Or will the Fires of Rapiveshta and those chosen to be the Scions of Light be able to save them and their world.

NEW RELEASE: Borne in the Blood

Delve into the mysterious and powerful world of blood in “Borne in the Blood”

This collection of enthralling stories explores the multifaceted essence of blood – as a symbol of life, a medium of magic, and a bond of kinship. From the chilling tale of a minstrel haunted by a spectral king to the whimsical account of a vampire ice cream vendor, each story weaves a unique narrative around the theme of blood. Encounter a woman whose body bizarrely intertwines with metallic elements, and follow a girl’s journey as she confronts her isolation due to her heritage. Feel chills as those who were wronged reach across the years to have their final revenge on the blood descendants of those who oppressed them.

Shifters, Vampires, Witches, and other ordinary and extraordinary folk – all bound together by that which they carry in their blood.

These tales will transport you through a spectrum of emotions, from the depths of fear to the heights of fantasy, as you unravel the mysteries and power that lie within the blood.

Proceeds from sales of Borne in the Blood will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation – themmrf.org/
