Day 1 of Power Tour is in the books. Not a bad crew to spend the next week on the road with! 😎

It was a little rainy today, but it was so amazing seeing thousands of hot rods, muscle cars, and trucks filling Route 66 Raceway.

Tomorrow the adventure begins down Route 66. Next stop: Rantoul, IL. 🇺🇸

We made it! 🥳

1,200 miles, 22 hours, and roughly 486 gas stops later, the Squarebody rolled into Joliet.

This is by far the farthest we have ever driven this truck, but it was an absolute champ and handled the trip without skipping a beat.

Can’t wait to kick off Day 1 of Power Tour tomorrow on Route 66! If you’re near Joliet, Rantoul, St. Louis, Springfield, or Tulsa, come say hi!!! 👋🏼

Before / after new interior on the squarebody! You don’t realize how bad some things are until you fix them up.. This was definitely one of those things! 😅

Clear coating the truck and redoing the interior has been on the to do list for years and it only took a couple weeks. I swear sometimes you just have to give yourself a deadline. Anyways, it’ll be a much nicer, comfier ride up to Power Tour! 😂

I still can’t believe the before & after from clearing the patina. Like this is my truck?! 🤯

We used 2 cans of gloss and 1 can of matte Poppy's Patina and ended up with what I’m calling satin+ 😂 I’m super happy with how it turned out and I can’t wait to bring it on Hot Rod Power Tour next week 🥳
