This vintage Detecto hanging scale has all the character you could ask for — that perfectly worn dial, original red pointer, layers of rust, and the kind of patina that only comes from years of real use.
I can just imagine this hanging in an old country store, weighing produce and goods day after day. Now it has become one of those pieces that tells a story all on its own.
I wouldn’t change a thing about that finish either. The wear, the rust, the imperfections… that’s the good stuff.
