While most pilots carry passengers, he carries lives.
Roan Carr-Hartley flies above the wild heart of Kenya, watching over animals who have no one else left. From orphaned elephant calves to injured rhinos, his small aircraft often becomes the first step toward safety and survival.
When drought leaves a baby elephant wandering alone, or poachers threaten animals in remote areas, Roan is in the sky. He spots, reports, guides rescue teams, and sometimes helps save human lives too, including lost children deep in the bush.
His cockpit is not just a plane. It is a lifeline. Every flight is driven by compassion, urgency, and the belief that every animal deserves a second chance.
In a world where wildlife is disappearing fast, one pilot has chosen to spend his life making sure they are not forgotten.
