A fundraiser for Rachel Spears, the young woman who fell 12 feet to a concrete floor in Clarke County Saturday, will be held Monday at New Hope Baptist Church. By Gods Grace Rachel is still with us and expected to recover.

😤 An eighth-grader was body-slammed in his school cafeteria — leaving him with a six-inch skull fracture.

Lukas Hardeman was rushed into emergency surgery in East Texas, where doctors drilled two holes into his skull to stop the bleeding and swelling.

By God’s grace, Lukas survived without permanent brain damage, but his fight isn’t over. He now faces a long recovery and months of therapy. His family says the road ahead will be tough, but they’re holding on to faith and hope.

Kilgore ISD is facing criticism for its handling of bullying reports.

Please lift Lukas and his family in your prayers, and share your words of encouragement to remind them they are not alone. They need us all. 💙
