We are honored to announce the posthumous release of Astonishing Travel Tales by the late satirist and storyteller Wayne Tatum. Wayne completed this manuscript shortly before his passing, and today we celebrate his legacy with a collection that captures his humor, imagination, and unmistakable creative spark.

Astonishing Travel Tales brings together Wayne’s most whimsical and heartfelt works, including favorites from Illustrated Tales for the Easily Entertained and his unreleased satire The Epic Despondency of Grumblemesh. Inside, readers will meet cattle‑trail cowpokes, talkative couches, dragons with business plans, UFO‑spotting farmers, moose with translation collars, and ancient soldiers receiving divine instructions from shining visitors. It is Wayne at his finest - clever, warm, and joyfully unexpected.

This special release features a Foreword by John Previti, Wayne’s lifelong friend and celebrated American bassist, with editorial guidance by Laurie Martin Roberts and early reviews by Laurie Seaquist.

Wayne’s storytelling lives on, and we are proud to share his final work with readers this fall season.

DonnaInk Publications, L.L.C., a woman‑owned independent press, has issued a formal severance of association with Born To Compete: A Man Without A War and its producer, Theresa Lynn Zaino.

Ms. Zaino was a service‑based client only and never a contracted author. She did not execute the DonnaInk Title Representation Agreement and therefore held no representation, authority, or governance standing within DonnaInk. As a courtesy, DonnaInk provided limited post‑production assistance in a gratis capacity. Claims that another DonnaInk author was charged $10K are false; that author signed an agreement and received gratis representation as part of DonnaInk’s annual community give‑back. Additionally, Faces of Rap Mothers (Candy Strother DeVore Mitchell) has been wrongfully referenced in multiple disparaging posts and is owed a public apology.

A limited hardbound print run coordinated through SparkLeaf Publishing was never fulfilled, despite payment and repeated assurances. SparkLeaf’s failure to deliver product or maintain transparency under their executed agreement resulted in a misdirected chargeback initiated by Ms. Zaino.

DonnaInk Publications is advancing formal regulatory complaints with appropriate agencies regarding SparkLeaf’s conduct. The press remains committed to ethical operations, transparent governance, and responsible stewardship.
DonnaInk confirms no further affiliation with Ms. Zaino or the title.
