I am honored to have been asked to interview with Voyage Baltimore Magazine. Honestly too, I bit humbled. First, a big shout out to Voyage Baltimore! Thank you!

Voyage Baltimore reached out to me and requested an interview earlier this year and I accepted. I receive many of these weekly and have always attributed them to spam. I happened to read and respond to this one and now, I am going to go back to the spam folder and make certain I haven't missed additional opportunities. Can you imagine?

For most of my career, I have remained behind the scenes, pouring energy into other people - their visions - their successes and their livelihoods. While that work remains deeply meaningful, 2026 marks something of a turning point for me.

This year, I am stepping forward as an author in my own right.
For thirty years, I have built a career that defies a single label: an executive strategist, a publisher, a ghostwriter, and a creative leader. As Founder and CEO of dpInk Ltd. Liability Company and President of DonnaInk Publications, I have had the privilege of contributing to more than $50 million in awarded federal contracts and billions in large IDIQs, while simultaneously walking alongside authors as they bring their most personal stories to life. That work continues and I am proud of every author or business I represent.

But this year, I am also releasing three titles of my own. "A Time For Faith," "Naturally Endowed," and "The Vale Protocol." Each is unique and builds varied perspectives of voice I've held resonate within myself.

Wayne could be a formidable partner in publishing, yes - but only because he held himself (and those who carried his work) to the highest standard of integrity. He was resolute in his faith, adamant that his stories reflect the values he lived every day. No Halloween promotions, no compromise on conviction. We respected him deeply for that clarity. We loved him fiercely for that courage.

We trust that our Heavenly Father has welcomed Wayne home with open arms. To his cherished wife, their families, dear friends, creative collaborators, the Surrattsville community he held close, and every reader who found joy and reflection in his pages - we extend our warmest condolences, our gratitude for sharing him with us, and our prayers for comfort in this season of loss.

Wayne’s wit was lightning-sharp, his humor gentle yet piercing, his brilliance quiet but unforgettable. He could make you laugh until your sides ached, then leave you nodding in quiet recognition of something deeper. Knowing him was a gift. Publishing him was an honor.

I will always treasure the day he tracked me down, called out of the blue, and we talked for four straight hours before he ever mentioned publication.
