BHS introduced an "8 drop 2" schedule for next year with more daily classes but shorter periods. And a student petition is circulating in opposition. Read all about it in The Buzz and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

BHS is introducing a new “8 drop 2” schedule for next school year, increasing the number of student classes per day but shortening each period to about 60 minutes. School officials said it will provide new and better learning for students. Some students have signed a petition against the change.

Branford High is offering eight new courses to students who are beginning this week to register for classes for next school year. The new courses, which were recently adopted by the Board of Education, will "open many doors for our students."
