The Branson area missed out on rainfall and storms this afternoon as all of the activity developed in areas to our East and southeast.

However, temperatures didn't hold back and climbed into the mid 90s with our weather station recording a high of 96° this afternoon.

Currently in Branson, it's 75° under mostly clear skies for our bedtime weather.

Overnight: Mostly clear skies expected with lows in the upper 60s.

Well, the sunshine we received today boosted temperatures into the mid 90s this afternoon with our weather station recording a high of 96°.

Currently in Branson, 79° under mostly cloudy skies for our bedtime weather.

Overnight: Mostly cloudy skies expected with a slight chance for a shower or two during our late overnight hours with lows in the low 70s.

Quick Glance at Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies expected through the first part of the day with Showers and thunderstorms possible by mid to late afternoon.
According to the There will be a Marginal to Slight risk for a few severe thunderstorms across southern Mo & SE Kansas.

Damaging wind gusts to 60 mph looks to be the primary hazard, with quarter sized hail and locally heavy rainfall also possible in some areas.

The timing for thunderstorm potential is between 2pm to 8pm.

Although we didn't receive much rainfall, we will take what we can get. According to our weather station we recorded a total of 0.47" is slayer sky water today. Temperatures were also much cooler as we topped out at 88° this afternoon.

The has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 2:30 PM CDT for Ozark County in Missouri.

A severe thunderstorm near Gainesville moving southeast at 20 mph with 60 mph wind gusts and penny-size hail. Damage to roofs, siding, and trees possible.
