Our studio was established on James 2:22- faith and actions working together. In 2010, we knew Branson was going to be an active part of the movie industry, so when we began the company in 2015, we jumped into the trenches as a startup and began to do the work.
2016, we launched Branson International Film Festival as a curated top tier festival.

Today we heard the exciting news that Great American Family and Great American Pure Flix will be coming to Branson next year to film.

Thank you Missouri Film Office for bringing back the Missouri State Tax incentives to help us grow the industry here!

Team work makes the dream work every single time! We couldn't be growing here in SW Missouri without it.

Now..if others learned about the amazing work of David Watson, Joe Bremer, Brittney Greer and a really long list of professional talents who call SW MO home, there would be an increase in production and it would take Branson/Hollister to another level!

In 2023, we gave away a Ford Explorer to challenge America to explore the possibilities of driving down violence. We started in Oklahoma with 9 tribes, and the results? Oklahoma went from #1 to #11!

Healing is sweeping across our land!

Behind the scenes this year, we were aligning partnerships to take us even further. Now we’re gearing up to ask Ford for something that can impact the entire nation over the next 5 years.

We’ve grown, and so has the vision.

Not long ago, Broken Colors was the sole project carrying the heart of Studio 2.22 Films.

Today, that heart has multiplied and expanded from California to Georgia!

We've also developed our pathway for books and music along with networking together artisans, while coaching people in the industry.

2026 will look compete different than what people are use to seeing because we can't achieve these successes alone. It truly takes more than a village, it requires an army.

So we are finishing up our privatized "behind the scenes" " be in the know" "stay connected " zone called Club 2.22

We also partnered up with another production company as our fiscal sponsor in California From the Heart Productions Inc and a SEC Licensed Reg CF funding platform while bringing on an Ex. Producer and film finance expert Chris Florence

We're looking for volunteers who want to be a part of the infrastructure. It would require attendance at a weekly staff meeting on Thursdays at 11am CST for one hour and working with your team lead for one to two hours a week.

2025 was a true test for Studio 222.

Our founder, Deborah Watson , realized she couldn’t build alone, so she hired creative leaders to focus on administration and build a strong, lasting infrastructure that serves both our audience and partners.

The year brought storms: the loss of both her parents and her own cancer journey. Yet through it came wisdom and strengthened partnerships with film finance leaders, preparing Studio 222 to face an industry dominated by corporate power grabs.

Incase you haven't heard, Paramount and Warner Bros. aren’t just merging, they’re consolidating control over what millions of people watch and read. This isn’t entertainment; it’s cultural capture funded by Saudi Oil money.

Studio 222 takes a different path. We remain privatized, independent, and funded by Americans who care about the stories we tell. Partnering with two companies, we’re creating sustainable cash flow so instead of foreign oil money owning our enterprises, "we the people" do. Together, we aim to influence culture far beyond our borders: Australia, Canada, Japan, South America, Africa, and European markets are currently in our network.

We aren’t doing it alone, and we’re blessed with a team built to reduce risk, strengthen infrastructure, and make this vision profitable for everyone.

2025 could have easily closed our doors, but grace, prayers, and supportive partners kept them open. Deborah and her team held on tight, and are rising in victory, without hostile takeovers.
