Brazil Public Library and The Brazil Times will hold a candidate forum on Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Library for the School Board race. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 5:45 p.m., with livestreaming on this page. We haven't had any questions yet, so please submit by Sept. 18!

Questions may be emailed to The Brazil Times at [email protected] or hand-delivered to the office at 1221 S. Bloomington St., Greencastle between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Once again, we're asking readers for questions for our local candidates. The Brazil Public Library and The Brazil Times are organizing a candidate forum for the School Board race. Questions may be emailed (the preferred method) to The Brazil Times at [email protected]. They can also be hand-delivered to the office at 1221 S. Bloomington St., Greencastle between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Question submissions are requested by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 18.

The Brazil Times is seeking new nominations for this Difference Maker series. A Difference Maker can be anyone in your community who you think should be in the spotlight.

A nomination should include the first and last name of the individual, a sentence or two about what they do to make a difference and a contact email and/or phone number for both the submitter and nominee if available.
