ANDERSEN THE LEGENDARY COMMANDER TRUE FATE:
Alright Commanders, Chapter 48 just hit and I’m still not over the Andersen–Dorothy–Liliweiss stuff. Gotta talk about it.
Andersen was the original Legendary Commander of the Goddess Squad. Straight-up mercenary with a soft spot for his girls, especially Liliweiss (Lilith). They were in love. During Operation Ark Guardian she shoved him into that elevator, yelled his real name for the first time, and stayed behind to die. Her body got stolen by the Rapture Queen later and now the Queen walks around wearing her face. That s**t has been eating Andersen alive for decades.
He got wrecked by Heretics back then, lost organs, spent years in a coma, and woke up hooked to that life-support thing that plugged into the Ark’s power. Without it he had like 30 minutes left (even worse after he gave blood to our Commander). Same rare blood type as us, same Queen Gene.
Dorothy took over as acting leader after Lilith died. Carried that Ark betrayal for almost a hundred years, talked a big revenge game, but never actually burned the place down because deep down she still cared. Chapter 46 finally gave her the reunion with Andersen and the full truth. She started letting the hate go… and then Chapter 48 punched her right back into the dirt.
She’s leading the Third Surface Reclamation War, takes down Annihilio stuff, then gets jumped by corrupted Nayuta clones. One sticks a corruption thorn in her. She pulls her termination pistol, ready to end it before she loses herself completely.
Andersen comes through on the radio, and man… the rage in his voice is something else:
“Don’t pull that trigger. I’m going to kill you if you do.”
“Run, Dorothy. Run as far away as you can.”
“I promise you right now. I’ll bring you back. I swear.”
She listens. Then Andersen loses it in the command room. His life-support device literally falls off mid-rampage. Burningum points it out and Andersen just goes, “I don’t need it anymore. I just get that feeling.” Grabs that old Legendary Commander energy and says they’re heading to the surface. The Queen is next.
So the two theories people are throwing around:
One is that Andersen has to die somehow to save Dorothy from full corruption. Current story doesn’t really point that way. He straight-up stops her from ending herself and orders her to survive so he can come get her later. No sacrifice setup yet.
The other one feels way more on-point: he’s gonna live, avenge Liliweiss, and pull Dorothy back in the process. Lilith’s body is being used as a meat puppet, Dorothy (basically his other “daughter”) just got corrupted under his watch, he’s finally healed after a century of being a walking co**se, and he’s angrier than we’ve ever seen him. Feels like the story is lining him up to go full living legend, put the Queen down, and bring Dorothy home.
About the healing factor real quick. Both Andersen and our Commander have the Queen Gene + Vapaus blood thing. Ours is already fully active and we’ve seen it work in real time — broken bones, impalements, falling from the sky, all that. Andersen’s was basically asleep for decades because of how bad the organ damage was. By the end of Chapter 48 it’s fully kicked in. No more machine, back in peak condition, feeling younger. Same origin as ours, just took longer to wake up. Right now they look pretty even in potential, ours just has more battle-tested feats so far.
Andersen’s not the dying old man in the office anymore. He’s the Legendary Commander again, fully healed, and the Queen just handed him two personal reasons to end her. Dorothy’s still out there running, corrupted but not gone yet, waiting for the guy who ordered her to live.What do you guys think?
