I’m 80 now and I’m still on the punch bag, not to prove anything, but because this is what keeps me right. Balance, timing, movement, and breathing matter in boxing training just as much at 80 as they did at 18. If you look after the fundamentals, they’ll look after you. I’ve always believed you don’t stop because you get old; you get old because you stop. Boxing teaches you that if you listen to it.
