I missed Otto’s 4th birthday post by 6 months, so I’m getting it together quicker this time! Lol! Ottobot is 5! While I cannot believe Otto is already five and feels so big, I am so keenly aware of how young and little he still really is! I am not trying to rush him to grow up because I am definitely THAT MOM that is going to miss how little he once was. With that said, as Otto gets older and grows up, I am loving to see who he is becoming!
Being 4 was so fun for Otto! We started out the year with a solo trip to Disneyland with mom- just like his older siblings did. While Otto is mostly just ready to come along for the ride where-ever his crazy family takes him, his days are pretty much spent outside in the cul-de-sac with is best buddy Lou (aka “Blu”) driving the power wheels, riding their scooters and bikes, and endless hot wheels playdates. There’s just a trail of hot wheels lining the sidewalks between our house and Lou’s house. The day will come where we won’t find hot wheels in the grass anymore, and it’ll make me both sad and so happy for the life he gets to live out with his best friend right down the street.
I could talk forever about all the things I love about Otto, but his biggest flex is how much other people talk good about him! I get messages from people all the time about their sweet interactions with him, but he also got 6 “Happy Mails” in his classroom this year for being caught being kind, working hard in class, making good “green” choices, being a good friend and being so happy. Hang out with Otto for an hour and try telling me he’s not one of the sweetest kids you know- I dare you!
I love you so much buddy. All mom’s dote on their kids, but seriously bro, you are awesome. How did I get so lucky to be your mom? Thanks for all the sweetest hugs, snuggles, kisses and a front row seat to all your thoughts. 💙😘
*”You Make My Dreams Come True” was Otto’s fav song this year!
