Puget Sound Genealogical Society

Puget Sound Genealogical Society The primary purpose of PSGS is: "Preserving Family History Through Education and Research." S.

While the focus of PSGS is local, many of our members are actively researching their roots from across the U. and other parts of the world, and we enjoy sharing our discoveries. Since most of our activities are focused on education and research, the Genealogy Center located at Sylvan Way Branch, 1301 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, provides the resources for our own research as well as assisting genealogists from other parts of the country.

Join us at our July 23rd, 2025 Program: American Revolution
Genealogy with Beth Foulk. Program will start at 1:30pm (PT)
The War of Independence changed history; our history; our families'
history. It's a story about which we want to know more. Did my
ancestor help? …even a little? There's much to be learned about our
ancestors' roles in this moment in history. In this class, we'll
discover where to start, what the best resources are, and how to
tackle the research. So, let's go in search of answers using the
soldiers' service and pension records and unit narratives.
