Reid Bunker, of Brentwood, NH, passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dusty Bunker, his children, April Mailhot, Melanie Bunker, Matthew Bunker and Sarah Bunker, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren (with one more on the way).
Reid grew up in Kingston, NH where he graduated from Sanborn Seminary in 1955, he served in the army for two years, married the love of his life, Dusty, and moved to Hampton where he served his community as a banker for 35 years.
Reid was an outdoorsman and conservationist. His adventurous spirit led him to find peace in nature, and he was often found hiking in the White Mountains, camping and canoeing. After he retired from the bank, he began taking pictures during his time in the wilderness and started his nature photography business.
Over the years he served as a member of the Hampton RotaryClub, a member of the Great Bay Conservation Commission and was part of the Seacoast Artists Association.
Reid was a devoted family man. The family has wonderful memories of going on long “mystery” rides up country, taking walks through the woods, having picnics and so much more.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made at the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve at www.greatbay.org (http://www.greatbay.org/)
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Kingston 1686 House, 127 Main Street, Kingston, NH November 20, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00PM.
