Today we’re listening to - Marty’s 1977 album which gave us both the title track, “Adios Amigo” and “I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do)”. This album made it to number 5 on the Top Country Albums chart and stayed there for a total of 18 weeks!

We’re thrilled that Vince Gill and Paul Franklin found room for on their newest record: “Sweet Memories: the Music of and the Cherokee Cowboys” Marty wrote “The Same Two Lips” which he recorded and released in 1956. Ray’s version of the song was on the radio in 1967 and now we’re so excited to hear this new 2023 version. Thank you, and for putting a new spin on this classic song!
