You are deeply missed, and navigating this first year without you is incredibly difficult. Thank you for the lifetime of love and support you gave us. It’s been months, and we are still fighting for the truth about our mother, Yolanda Ramirez.
​We formally reached out to Brentwood City Attorney Thomas Lloyd Smith and Interim Police Chief Walter O'Grodnick for answers, but our requests were met with complete silence. They claim to stand for accountability and transparency, but their actions—or lack thereof—tell a very different story. They have done nothing to help us find justice.
​Because they refused to respond, the District Attorney has stepped in and requested a Coroner’s Inquest. The inquest is scheduled for July 15th and is open to the public. We want to thank Anser Hassan and ABC 7 Bay Area for covering our mother's story.
