Let's get to know Brevard H.S.'s new Head Football Coach Chase McIntyre. That's a familiar name since he's been an assistant coach at BHS for several years. He steps into his 1st Head Coaching job and welcomes the huge expectations for the program after advancing to the State Championship Game last season. Dan Hein recently sat down with Coach McIntyre for this introductory "Coach's Corner" conversation. GO BIG BLUE!

The Brevard Blue Devil football program has taken us on an amazing 3 year ride. It's been an honor for our town and community to support, embrace, and witness the growth and progress of these players and coaches alike. They have achieved success and created memories for themselves, and for us, that we all will never forget. So Cheers to Head Coach Luke Coleman, all of the assistant coaches, every single player on the team, in particular the talented group of Seniors, who played with tremendous heart and laid it all on the line every single game. We are so proud of and proud for this team, and thankful for the ride they have taken us on. GO BIG BLUE !!!

It's State Championship Game Week! Saturday at 11am our undefeated 14-0 Blue Devils face off against the 12-2 Reidsville Rams for the 4A State Title at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory. On this week's BHS "Coach's Corner", Dan Hein discusses the big game with Head Coach Luke Coleman. GO BIG BLUE !!!

Hope EVERYONE can make the short drive to Hickory Saturday morning, but if you can't make it, Saturday's 4A Championship Game between 14-0 Brevard & 12-2 Reidsville will be broadcast Live on Radio & TV. As usual WSQL Radio in Brevard will broadcast the game Live, airtime 10:30am Saturday with Dan Hein & Lyndon Clayton. And if you have access to the My40 TV station in Asheville, you can watch it Live there, or stream the video through the NFHS network. My40 will also carry all 8 Championship games Live.
