The Blue Devils hit the road again this Friday night for the final Non-Conference game of the season against the 2-1 North Buncombe Black Hawks. On this week's "BHS Coach's Corner", Dan Hein talks with Head Coach Chase McIntyre about this Friday's game as well as last week's loss to Erwin.
An early 7pm kickoff this Friday at North Buncombe. Airtime 6:30pm on WSQL radio for the Pre-Game show.

Pack the Home Stands this Friday night as the 0-1 Blue Devils jump back into action hosting the 1-1 Erwin Warriors in a non-conference game. Kickoff 7:30pm at Home. On this week's "BHS Coach's Corner", Dan Hein visits with Head Coach Chase McIntyre about the upcoming Erwin game and the season-opening loss to AC Reynolds. Blue Devils dropped the rain-delayed season-opener to AC Reynolds Monday night 17-2. Brevard is a 4A school. But despite ACR being a much bigger 6A school, and despite the Devils youth and inexperience this season, Brevard showed loads of upside and potential, especially on defense holding ACR to only 2 big plays for TDs. And offensively there is definite talent. Game experience will help this young team grow up quickly. Enjoy some Hi-Lights from the ACR game. Blue Devils are OFF this Friday, back in action September 4th at HOME against Erwin.

Blue Devils trail AC Reynolds 17-2 at Half. ACR is a larger 6A school. Brevard a 4A school but the young & inexperienced Blue Devils actually played very well in the 1st half, especially on defense against the run.

The weather Won tonight. Heavy rains flooded the sidelines at AC Reynolds H.S. making the field unplayable. So the season-opener between Brevard and ACR will be played Monday night 6:30pm kickoff. GO BIG BLUE !!!
